Vision

To encourage Biblical stewardship across the nations so that others may experience the Cross.

 

Mission

With God's leading, the Northwest Baptist Foundation serves as the trust agency of the Northwest Baptist Convention, supporting it's ministries, the ministries of it's member churches, and other affiliated ministries.

Operating within a diverse constituency of individuals and churches, the Foundation facilitates and secures the growth and strength of Christian causes within our region and around the world.  We serve people and organizations by:

  • Providing strategic financial services;

  • Providing financing to enable churches to effectively develop their ministries;

  • Providing consulting/training services for churches and auxillary organizations in order to promote healthy policies and procedures for their ministries; and

  • Providing personal services for individuals.

Values

Accountable - Conduct without fault

Romans 14:12  "So then each of us will give an account of himself to God."

 

Ministry - Actively demonstrating God's Love

John 13:34-35 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another.  By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."

 

Integrity - Action based on honesty

1 Corinthians 4:2 "Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found trustworthy."

 

Serve - Imitating Christ through service

John 12:26 "If anyone serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there will my servant be also. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.

 

Compassion - Properly responding to others

Colossians 3:12 "Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience."

Beliefs

God Created and Owns All: Ours comes not from our hand but from God's hand

  • Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth.

  • Psalm 50:10-11 "For all the animals of the forest are mine, and I own the cattle on a thousand hill.  I know every bird on the mountains, and all the animals of the field are mine."

  • Haggai 2:8 "The silver is mine and the gold is mine, declares the LORD almighty."

  • Psalm 24:1 "The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it."

 

We are Summoned as His Stewards

     Colossians 3:23 "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men."
